about

I WILL SAY: "UKRAINE" - vocal lyrics based on poems by Ukrainian poets

Valentin Sylvestrov's vocal cycles will be presented by his favorite performers - Inna Galatenko (soprano) and Oleg Bezborodko (piano). Over the past fifteen years, Valentin Sylvestrov has written all his vocal works specifically for the voice of Inna Galatenko. The composer himself says about her: "Inna has a wonderful, fresh voice. But in my music there is nowhere to show it, because I always ask to sing "in low voice". And she is one of the few who can find a compromise between her own nature and the demands of the composer."
